(Al-Mulk) 67 : 16
أَأَمِنْتُمْ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ أَنْ يَخْسِفَ بِكُمُ الْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَمُورُ
Do you feel secure that the one who is in the Heaven won’t cause to split the earth with you when it quakes violently?
As explained in verse 21: 30, Allah who has formed the heavens and earth in the condition as seen now by splitting them ascender from one mass, and who has established on the throne at ‘Firdouse Paradise’ is controlling the universe. That is why it is told in this verse about Allah as ‘the one who is in the Heaven’. See explanation 7: 96-99; 16: 45-47; and 28: 81.
